ISO 45001 – What is needed and what is the process for a certification?
A work environment policy or work environment plan is a good start, but in order to meet the requirements of ISO 45001 you need a complete management system with goals, policies and procedures for how you should continue to improve your work environment. Our auditors help you to review your work with your working environment.
When the audit is approved, we as independent certification body issue your work environment certificate. We then help you with annual development audits and every three years a re-certification is made.
AFS 2001:1 – Systematic work environment work
The Work Environment Act contains rules on, among other things, how to prevent ill-health and accidents at work and work for good cooperation between employers and employees. The Swedish Work Environment Authority also issues regulations that address in detail the requirements placed on the work environment. In order to comply with Swedish work environment legislation, you must follow the Swedish Work Environment Authority’s regulation for systematic work environment work, AFS 2001:1. This is therefore a statutory requirement and constitutes a basis for all operations. By certifying your work environment management system, you get independent proof that you have systematic work environment work.
ISO 45001 – Has replaced OHSAS 18001 in work environment

ISO 45001: 2018 replaces OHSAS 18001 that expired as a valid standard in Sep 2021.
