Certification in aggregates

Following the acquisition of Vattenfall Services Nordic AB’s certification business VUC, A3CERT is expanding its service offering in concrete and aggregates certification with several certification opportunities in the area.

Since 2013, it has been a requirement that all construction products covered by a harmonised standard must be CE marked, which guarantees that they meet the EU’s safety and quality requirements.

Once the certification process has been completed and the audit has been approved, we will issue a certificate confirming that the production meets these quality requirements. This also gives you the right to use the A3CERT mark on your website and marketing.

Aggregates: CE marking and certification for quality assurance

Certification by A3CERT guarantees that the production of aggregates is of high quality and complies with the standards required for various types of construction and civil engineering projects. A3CERT certifies FPC systems (Factory Production Control) in the production of aggregates according to the following harmonised standards, ensuring that the product meets the declared values that can then be compared to requirements set for different applications:

EN 12620: Aggregate for concrete
EN 13043: Aggregates for bituminous mixtures and surface treatments for roads, airfields and other trafficked areas
EN 13139: Aggregate for use
EN 13242: Aggregates for unbound and hydraulically bound materials for use in civil engineering work and road construction
EN 13450: Aggregates for railway ballast
